BILLING CHANGE NOTICE – Why is my bill higher than normal?
If you received a bill for double the normal amount it is not because we are charging you more or that rates have increased, we have changed our billing to a two month billing cycle. This means that if you used to receive a bill for one month at a time the bill you just received may be for two months, so it will be double your prior amount. Along with this change we are changing our billing format from postcard to laser statements with a return envelope for your convenience. We did send a notice of this pending change during the first week in February, however it appears some of our customers did not receive this notice. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused and we believe this change will be positive for all our customers.
(If you did receive a bill for double the amount but the period description says “Feb”, your old billing cycle was for one month in the rear. The bill you just received is for February and March. You will receive a bill the first of April for the months of April and May to get your account set up on the two month advance cycle.)
